We loved being just a few steps away from the charming Sea Grape Gallery and enjoying relaxing walks at Lafayette Park during our stay, which made our weekend exploration so enjoyable.

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience, highlighted by a beautiful room that felt more like a condo, complete with a screened-in balcony for enjoying wildlife views. The location made it easy to walk to downtown for shopping and trying out local seafood. However, the furnishings could use some updates, and the surrounding area can be a bit crowded during peak times. Additionally, the dining options were limited on-site, which might be inconvenient for some.

We had a great one-night stay! The spacious king room was perfect, and we loved our nice back patio. It was exactly as pictured, and we’d definitely choose it again.

I loved my time at Ascend Hotel in Apalachicola. The room was spacious, essentially a condo with a full kitchen, large living area, and a screened porch overlooking the creek. The view was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise. The decor had an old Florida charm that made the place feel cozy. The staff members were friendly and attentive, which enhanced my stay. However, the towels in the unit weren't clean upon my arrival, and I had to wash them myself. The living room couch was uncomfortable and very worn out. This made relaxing a bit more challenging. Also, I noticed a few maintenance issues, like the microwave being in poor condition. These things need addressing for a more enjoyable experience.

We had an amazing time enjoying the spacious King Room with a beautiful view of the Scipio Creek and loved the peaceful outdoor pool area. The only issue was the coffee in the room could be better, but we ended up grabbing some great brews from the office instead. Definitely check out the local seafood spot nearby for a tasty meal! 😊

The absence of information regarding checkout times added to the inconsistency in service.
