Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience, highlighted by a beautiful room that felt more like a condo, complete with a screened-in balcony for enjoying wildlife views. The location made it easy to walk to downtown for shopping and trying out local seafood. However, the furnishings could use some updates, and the surrounding area can be a bit crowded during peak times. Additionally, the dining options were limited on-site, which might be inconvenient for some.

I loved my time at Ascend Hotel in Apalachicola. The room was spacious, essentially a condo with a full kitchen, large living area, and a screened porch overlooking the creek. The view was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise. The decor had an old Florida charm that made the place feel cozy. The staff members were friendly and attentive, which enhanced my stay. However, the towels in the unit weren't clean upon my arrival, and I had to wash them myself. The living room couch was uncomfortable and very worn out. This made relaxing a bit more challenging. Also, I noticed a few maintenance issues, like the microwave being in poor condition. These things need addressing for a more enjoyable experience.

We had an amazing time enjoying the spacious King Room with a beautiful view of the Scipio Creek and loved the peaceful outdoor pool area. The only issue was the coffee in the room could be better, but we ended up grabbing some great brews from the office instead. Definitely check out the local seafood spot nearby for a tasty meal! 😊

The views from the spacious screened balcony over the river were nothing short of breathtaking! 🌅 The only downside was the bathroom could use more counter space. Overall, a lovely stay!

The location was fantastic, with serene water views and a lovely screened balcony to enjoy the mornings. The room was spacious and clean, though I encountered some issues with the housekeeping, prompting me to wish for better management. Overall, I would consider returning despite the drawbacks.

Keurig cups weren't stocked in our room, requiring a trek to the lobby for coffee. The floors felt dirty, prompting me to put down towels to wipe my feet. Furniture, especially the couch, was uncomfortable and worn. There were no 'Do Not Disturb' indicators, which led to an unnerving experience when someone unexpectedly tried to enter our room at night. The absence of information regarding checkout times added to the inconsistency in service.
